PRCA Insights: Practical AI Skills for PR and Communications

This 2.5-hour virtual training equips mid to senior level PR and communications professionals with the practical skills and strategic understanding they need to integrate AI into their daily work.

Cost: €225 pp.

Designed for practitioners, the session blends actionable exercises with demonstrations of leading tools so participants can confidently apply AI across core PR workflows, regardless of whether they use ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or other platforms.

Led by Karen Howley, an AI trainer and consultant known for helping PR and communications teams build practical, strategic capability with AI, the workshop anchors each skill in real-world challenges.

The course focuses on four pillars central to modern PR practice: research and insight generation, pitch development, content creation, and crisis response.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

• Develop stronger strategic judgement when using AI
• Build practical capability across key PR tasks
• Increase the speed and quality of content and insight generation
• Strengthen preparedness for issues and crisis situations
• Gain confidence applying AI responsibly within established communications protocols

Participants will need access to an AI tool such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or Claude, along with a computer and a reliable internet connection.
