FleishmanHillard (FH) Head of Healthcare and EMEA Healthcare lead Orla Burke, FPRII has been appointed to the Health and Wellness Lions Jury for the 2018 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
The Cannes Lions Awards are recognised as the most prestigious awards of the communications industry throughout the world. FH Dublin is the only PR agency in Ireland to have been awarded three Cannes Lion PR Awards for Creativity.
Orla Burke led the team that took home two silver awards in 2016 for their work on the hugely impactful Philips Breathless Choir, which brought together a group of 18 people in New York for whom breathing is a constant challenge, and documented their journey, as they conquered their fears and defied everyone’s expectations by undertaking the impossible: learning to sing. FH Dublin also won a bronze award for its outstanding P&G campaign during the London 2012 Olympics.
Speaking about her role on the Jury, Orla Burke said: “A single creative idea that motivates behaviour change is the holy grail of healthcare communications. Behaviour change is notoriously difficult to achieve and I’m looking forward to being inspired and motivated by the very best communications campaigns from around the global. I’m delighted to represent FleishmanHillard as well as Ireland at Cannes and bring back learnings from inspiring work.’
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has been running for 64 years with the PR category introduced in 2009. Since then FleishmanHillard has been an advocate for increasing the involvement of PR companies.
