Cullen Communications wins high-profile awards for projects in B2B, Sustainability and Consumer categories at PRGN Best Practice Awards 2022 in Singapore
We’re delighted to announce that Cullen Communications was among the winners in this year’s PRGN (Public Relations Global Network) Best Practice Awards, picking up two Silvers and a Bronze at the recent gathering of the international PRGN network in Singapore.
In the Sustainability/ESG category, we were awarded the Silver prize for our work on Applegreen’s pioneering BioDive programme for primary schools, which saw more than 1,100 schools apply to take part. BioDive is a national initiative designed to build awareness among school children, their families and local communities about the importance of biodiversity in Ireland.
In the important B2B category, Cullen Communications again won the Silver prize for our launch of the new Lyreco headquarters in Dublin and announcement of the company’s 50th anniversary. Lyreco is the world’s third-biggest distributor of workplace supplies and its new distribution centre in Dublin is the largest of its kind in Ireland.
Finally, in the B2C (Products) category, we picked up the Bronze award for our launch of the new Dare 2B Mountain and Active Edit, featuring former F1 ace Jenson Button. Lifestyle brand Dare 2B is a recent addition to our client roster and we have been working hard with influencers to create events and content that capture the essence of the brand.
“Awards show what we are capable of”
“It’s great to have our work recognised at such a prestigious, international PR awards event,” said Owen Cullen, MPRII Managing Director of Cullen Communications, the sole Irish member of the invitation-only alliance of global PR agencies.
“Sustainability has become a particular focus of the agency in recent times, so it’s especially pleasing to pick up an award in that category, alongside our work for Lyreco and Dare 2B in the B2B and B2C categories,” Mr Cullen went on. “Awards show clients what we are capable of, and I want to thank the relevant client teams and the wider agency group for their outstanding effort in securing this recognition.
“We are very proud to be Ireland’s only member of PRGN, giving our clients access to the vast knowledge and resources of one of the world’s leading international PR networks,” he said. “We look forward to being in the mix at next year’s PRGN Best Practice Awards!”
Founded in 1992, PRGN is an international network with 52 agency members and approximately 1,000 PR professionals in 34 countries across all major markets. Member agencies are independent, local, owner-operated PR and marketing communications firms that share expertise and resources.
